Definition
Passive Chilled Beam: Natural convection for cooling only with water or any other liquid and mounted under the ceiling or integrated into a false ceiling.
Active Chilled Beam: Forced convection/induction including ventilation, cooling and/or heating (1-way, 2-way or 4-way air distribution) with water or any other liquid and mounted under the ceiling or integrated into a false ceiling.
