Partners of Eurovent Middle East are comprised of, but not limited to, governmental, federal and diplomatic entities concerned with legislative and technical developments in the field of Indoor Climate (HVAC), Process Cooling, Food Cold Chain, Industrial Ventilation, and Building Automation Technologies.

If you would like to support our growing project and forward-thinking approaches, you are cordially invited to become a partner. To do so, please contact office@eurovent.me.

Partners are closely involved with the activities of Eurovent Middle East, are invited to attend meetings and engage with chosen projects. Partners face no particular obligations other than supporting our aim to work towards a lower energy demand, an improved food safety, and a better indoor air quality in the Middle East.

The decision to approve a partner remains with our members.

Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council

Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) is an Abu Dhabi government entity consisting of a council of regulators with a mandate to ensure provision of quality infrastructure in line with global standards, and to support regulators and government organisations through offering quality and conformity facilities, expertise and resources, promote a culture of quality towards consume.

Cool Coalition

Eurovent Middle East is a member of the Cool Coalition, a global multi-stakeholder network that connects more than 100 actors from government, cities, international organisations, businesses, finance, academia, and civil society groups to facilitate knowledge exchange, advocacy and joint action towards a rapid global transition to sustainable cooling. Led by UNEP, the Cool Coalition is one of the official outcomes and ‘Transformation Initiatives’ put forward by the Executive Office of the Secretary-General for the UN Climate Action Summit in New York.

EU-GCC Clean Energy Network II

The EU-GCC Clean Energy Network aims to catalyse partnerships between clean energy stakeholders, both in the GCC and the EU. The Network is a source of information on clean energy topics, the inclusive platform for stakeholders to meet and debate and the bridge towards cooperation on clean energy, including policy and technology aspects, among various players across the EU and GCC countries.

EU-GCC Trade and Business Cooperation Facility

EU-GCC Trade and Business Cooperation Facility aims at lifting business and trade between the EU and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Through mutual understanding and dialogue, the EU-GCC initiative will accelerate the creation of stronger business-to-business linkages, while simultaneously facilitating a stronger policy dialogue between the private and the public sectors in the EU and GCC countries.

Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO)

Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO) is a Regional Standardization Organization (RSO) established by the resolution of the GCC Supreme Council. It assumed its operation in 2004 with the membership of the gul region governments. It aims to unify the various standardisation activities and follow up their implementation and commitment to them in cooperation and coordination with the National Standardization Bodies in the member states In September 2022, Eurovent signed a Memorandum of Understanding with GSO to bring closer cooperation on standardisation and capacity building and facilitate exchange of expertise between Eurovent, Eurovent Middle East and GSO.

United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the global authority that sets the environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the UN system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment. Eurovent is a partner of UNEP, the coordinator of the Cool Coalition initiative which connects a wide range of key actors from governments and international organisations to facilitate knowledge exchange, advocacy and joint action towards a rapid global transition to efficient and climate-friendly cooling.

UNEP was a supporter of Eurovent Middle East’s 5th Anniversary Congress in Dubai and continues a close exchange of activities in the Middle East to further actions on sustainability.
