Fans for use in potentially explosive atmospheres: This Eurovent document contains specifications for the design of fans for use in zone 1 and zone 2 (for definition and specification of the zones, see pr EN 1127-1) explosion hazardous locations as a result of the presence of gases, vapours, mist or mixtures thereof. The manufacturer is to be solely responsible for meeting the requirements set down in this document. The requirements detailed in pr EN 1127-1 shall be deemed to have been met in the case of fans if the latter meet the specifications set down in this document. This document is available in English.
